Hot Air Balloon Sydney with Balloon Aloft in Hunter Valley, Camden Valley, Mudgee, Byron Bay location

As the sun rises you will ascend into the sky in your colourful balloon. Your balloon will float gently along the breeze; in your basket you will feel completely secure with virtually no sensation of movement. During your flight you may find yourself drifting just above the treetops then, moments later, effortlessly ascending to heights of 2000 feet or more. Make sure you have your camera ready to capture views from a perspective like no other.

  • Hot air ballooning is an adventure activity and whilst there are no fixed timelines, your entire experience, including breakfast after the flight, should take approximately 3.5 – 4.5 hours.

 What to expect

Your pilots and crew will be on hand to welcome you when you arrive, enjoy a tea or coffee as you sign-in. Your Hunter Valley ballooning adventure will then begin with a short drive to your launch site. It only takes around 20-25 minutes for your balloon to be inflated, and you can grab insta-worthy shots of the balloon during this time.

After landing we will pack the balloon away and then it’s back to Peterson House where the excitement of the morning continues over a gourmet champagne breakfast overlooking the vines.

Your family and friends are welcome to join you for breakfast following your flight with extra cost.

They also include an open air private ensuite, with freestanding bath and shower, perfect for bird watching and kangaroo spotting while you enjoy a steaming hot shower.   • Mid week special (Mon-Thu) with minimum 2 nights from $575/ a night, per couple in a Deluxe Safari Tent and from $640 in a new Deluxe Plus Safari Tent.
  • Extra adults are $190 per person and extra children over six $110 each.
  • One night rate from $640/ a night, per couple except booking on Fri or Sat where requires 2 nights
